The Chiefs added 10 points while I was driving home from a friends house..........2 miles away. They only had 41 points when we left.

Spuzz It was a pretty clear declaration about the Chiefs choking at home in the playoffs. Sort of like someone shouting, "Spuzz isn't an asshole!" before actually reading any of your posts. An assessment made prematurely that turns out to be incorrect to a comical degree, y'know?

My point wasn't that the poster was a fool, rather the Chiefs turned it around to such an unfathomable degree that, in hindsight, ever questioning them seems crazy.

Why don't you bring something to the discussion and please do elevate our awareness. What makes you think that Baltimore was "the best team in the league" coming into the playoffs? Was it their record? Their strength of schedule in the AFC North? What man?

professor Baltimore played dominant football all year.....they looked the best. But Tennessee exposed them and played really good. I just don't think that a run first team, with an average NFL throwing QB are gonna run the table. Sure it can be done, but I don't see it happening. Guys a phenom, but his throwing form sucks. It snowballed against him yesterday. He's a special runner for a QB, but where does he stack up as a thrower? And when going against a playoff team, with a good D, then what? It's gonna be a lot harder next year to do what he did this year!

Most regular season wins in the league.
Ranked 2nd in regular season total offense.
Ranked 4th in regular season total defense.
Only two regular season losses.
One of their two losses came @ Kansas City, -5 points.
Didn't lose a game in Oct, November, and December.
Six of their 12 consecutive wins came against teams with winning records.
Five of their 12 consecutive wins came against opponents who advanced to the postseason.

You can rightly argue strength of schedule re: AFC North, but that quickly gets marginalized considering the wins against NE, Seattle, SanFran, Houston, and Buffalo.

I'm sure it won't suffice, but go ahead. Continue developing carpal tunnel with the mindless semantics.

sdandrea1 he did....best he looked in a big game all year.....he really only made one bad throw all game and it was a bad read.....about half of his incompletions were throw aways. Those two third down completions on that last drive were big. He checked out of the play that went to Devante......good throw but great audible! And the throw to Graham although not as good, he was under duress and the play of the game or should I say spot of the game😉. Our key guys came up big. Rodgers, Devante, The Smith's, Jaire, and Jimmy Graham!

My favorite stat of the day....all 8 of Devante's grabs were for first downs, 2 of which for TD's 💪

You label that semantics? Best figure out what you're talking about. You're addressing deductions based upon past performance when the issue at hand is about current/pending performance.

I tried to find someone that didn't have Baltimore the #1 seed, #1 in the power rankings, etc heading into the start of the playoffs. All use different algorithms, formulas, eye tests, etc. Scott Bair (nbcsports.com), Dan Hanzus (nfl.com), Pete Prisco (cbssports.com), Vegas insiders at lineups.com, and Jeff Sagarin all had the Ravens as the best team entering the playoffs but what do they know? They only make their living from writing about their opinions and their systems they lean on to help them arrive at their conclusions. I couldn't find any one that also had a distinguished academic ranking they used like "professor" or some equivalent to promote themselves in the small universe I reviewed. They just put their opinions on the line in their writings and welcomed others to share their thoughts whether they agree or disagree.

ode - I didn't go that far in their individual assessments. I did notice at least one had 3 out of 4 Conference Championship teams sans Baltimore. There was one comment that L Jackson would be the emphasis on scheming against him - the Titans game plan worked very well. Pressure on him led to 3 direct turnovers and only a 53% completion percentage, well under his season average. He is fun to watch when he has lead blockers or in the open field but the 'spy' Tennessee employed stopped him before he could get into the secondary.
