Comparing Popeyes to Chik-fil-A is like comparing me to Justin Thomas.

Wendy's just came out with spicy chicken nuggets. I'm wondering just how spicy all these offerings are on the market. Burger King has a darn good spicy chicken sandwich and it's even on their value menu. IIRC, Wendy's regular spicy chicken sandwich is pretty hot for my tastes.

I may give Popeye's a try...sure a lot of buzz about it. Chick-Fil-A's marinated chicken sandwich is going to be touch to beat for me and C-F-A always has had the nicest, most polite young people working in our local market.

For those who live in an area with Bojangles, how does it compare w Bojs Cagun Fillet?

personally I like the spicy CFA but Bojangles has it beat.

Ive had Popeyes chicken before, good but I like Bojangles better. I have not had the Popeyes sandwich yet.

That was probably my favorite Wendy's sandwich until recently. For some reason it is now almost too spicy to enjoy.

I stopped at Popeye's last night. They were out of chicken sandwiches and out of biscuits.

This might be CFA biggest advantage. All of the CFA restaurants are ran very well. Popeye's on the other hand are hit or miss. It all depends on the owner.

We don't have a Chick-Fil-A around us, so I have never had one.

We do have a Popeye's in town and just went past there yesterday to get to the grocery store and the drive-thru line was onto the street blocking the entrance to the grocery store lot. I have NEVER seen that before.

I have never had Popeye's chicken either, but it always smells good! I don't have a gallbladder so the grease is hard on me, so I typically don't do fried chicken (KFC is great when you eat it, not good later when it causes "issues").

I had no idea this was a thing. My daughter had a soccer tournament in San Diego this weekend. As we were driving between games, we drove by a Popeye's and it had 15 or so cars in line for the drive-thru. We both looked at each other and said "Huh?"

      Now I see.

Sparky we drove by a Popeye's and it had 15 or so cars in line for the drive-thru.

Perhaps the drive-thru is just slow. Our Steak and Shake is like that most of the time and it isn't because the food is great. You get trapped in the line with no escape and service comes to a halt like a wreck on the interstate.

Can't even get one now if you wanted one...

I've had Chik-Filet many times....wife and I both like them. When all this buzz got started about the Popeyes
sandwich, we looked up the nearest store (on the other side of town, but not too inconvenient), and planned
to make it a point to get there soon. Then last night on the local news they did a segment saying the county
health department closed the place down for "multiple health code violations!" Talk about bad timing.....!
Guess we'll have to wait a while to try Popeyes.....
