DonM I'm kinda with ya on this one, Don. I went to In1Zone SL irons this year, and while I really do like them, I can't tell where I'm hitting them on the face. I know this supposed to be a good thing because that means they're super forgiving, but I like to know where I've struck the ball (I don't why; I just gutsta know).
I find the sound on my irons isn't all that different from shot to shot. Usually I can tell from the sound (both when I hit the ball or others do) if a ball has been hit heelish, toeish, high, or low on the face. Not with these. All shots sounds and feel basically the same.
The masochist in me wants some punishment when I miss the centre of the face!
