I have two rounds under my belt with these bad boys, so I figured I'd give a quick synopsis.
Aesthetics: They look and feel great in my opinion. The topline is a bit chunkier than I prefer and there seems to be a bit of quality control issues as the topline of my 5 iron head is thicker than the rest of the clubs. In terms of feel, they feel very similar to my Ping i200's (soft feeling for a cast club)
Performance: Well, with only 2 rounds in the books, they have performed admirably. I have stiff flex hard-stepped steelfiber 125s in my i200's and DG s300's in the dynacrafts and the irons feel and perform very similarly to each other. Similar distances but the the dynacrafts did seem to launch lower than my pings. I think loftwise they are very similar to my ping power spec lofts so I don't think it's that. I hit the ball fairly high anyways and the greens were not terribly hard so the lower ball flight did not seem to affect my ability to hold greens. I can see this being an issue on a couple of my local courses but the majority should be just fine. In terms of workability, I would say I could move the ball a bit easier with my pings but more time is needed to assess. Having said that, I was able to hit a few fades on command with my approach shots, as well as hit a nice low draw to a back left pin into the wind yesterday.
Overall, my intent was try these irons with hopes that they would be a poor man's ping i500 and these seem to fit the bill. I'll play a few more rounds as is before considering reshafting as the s300's are not my fave shaft. In the meantime, I'll see if I can pry of the badges and sex them up a bit 😍
