you could be right my friend or he might simply have said all he has to say ( what LB quoted above)
If it were me in his shoes, as a new member I wouldn't be getting into an argument with people who are not involved in the transaction . 1. Its none of their business, only between the seller and the buyer and 2. Seems the court of public opinion has already tried him as being a scammer....so I would wait until my item arrived and let that be that.
I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt ( as Matt has) and be in the innocent until proven guilty camp ,
it does remain a possibility this was a scam ( every online transaction carries risk) and from Matt's post above he understands that and is taking it all in stride and if that turns out to be the case, he will file his claim. Kudos for him for not overreacting and putting this in proper perspective ( something that is often lacking here)
