I have read so many people compare the feeling of hitting a good forged iron to the feeling of squeezing soft butter in your hand. Frankly, I'm not a big believer that a person can feel forged, so that comparison never really made much sense to me. I have played a lot of cast clubs that felt really soft. But then I hit the 600Cs. The first swing I took with them I flushed one and my immediate thought was, "Oh! So that's what they mean." The feeling really was like squeezing soft, but firm butter.
