I have no idea why slower swing speed players use clubs with 4 degree gaps. Drop it down to 6 degrees and lighten the load (and cost). My daughter started playing high school golf (she’s got a good swing but isn’t particularly good, though she hits the driver over 200 on decent strikes) and they play from the Blue tees because it is Boys golf. I ask her about some holes and she said “Dad, I basically need my driver, then wood then some type of wedge on all the par 4 and 5s and then maybe a 7 iron on a par 3” I am sure it is pretty close for many other players. If I didn’t already have clubs for her I would have gone with PXG to get 6 degree gaps. She would only need 8-G (32-50 degrees) a sand wedge, driver, fairway wood and if we are feeling crazy, add a hybrid. I love going out with a wood, 5, 8, W only and often don’t even bother with a putter.
