Par4QC Let's go 1 more round, before this thread ends, if you ever let it.
The man was "threatening" the woman and girl. He had a gun. Apparently, this had been going on for a little while. 2 cops come, assuming with guns drawn, and "threaten" the man with the gun. They both get shot. the man, unknown to us per the story as to how, was taken into custody. Without ever shooting the woman and girl. He had shot 2 cops, and they thought he was going to shoot the woman and girl......and after having ample opportunity & time....he never did.
2 fucking Rambos trying to be Heros. They did nothing to stop him from shooting those 2 people. He had every opportunity to do so, esp. after shooting 2 cops. Again, they did not save those 2 people. But could have caused their deaths.
Had the man been firing his weapon repeatedly, before they advanced, would they have advanced?? Or do you think they were stupid enough to just run toward open fire?
I know one thing, you have no idea what you're talking about. It was a domestic dispute call. The daughter called 911 to report a domestic dispute between her patents. The father had shot at the mother's Alexa. The cops arrive with the mother running outside saying she had been battered and her husband had refused to leave.
This all happened around midnight. Just after 2:00 am the deputies decided to enter the home. The father started shooting at the deputies and they exchanged gunfire. One of the deputies was shot in the thigh in his femoral artery and the other was shot in the hand. The quick action by his fellow deputies saved his life.
Sheriff Nocco, "The suspect tried to kill everybody outside that house. This was a gun battle an absolute gun battle."
At 4:00 am after not hearing gunshots deputies could not get in contact with Peterson (the father). They then employed a gas bomb inside the house followed by a robot. It's then that they saw Peterson on the floor with blood coming from his head. He was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. They don't know yet if the wound was self inflicted or came for one of the deputies.
Peterson will be charged with one count of domestic violence and at least 5 counts of attempted murder. Peterson had been arrested for domestic battery before.
Ironically a January 2019 Google image shows a sign next to the front door. It says "We don't call 911", with a picture of a handgun.
If you stop posting ignorant conjecture, I'll stop respond to your drivel. Deal?
