Weirfan meagain it is lean so definitely not the same as normal bacon . side bacon with that thick fatty layer is perhaps the tastiest IMO
johnnydoom My college roommate always loved Canadian bacon and had to have it wherever he could find it. I always had the impression that he viewed it as somehow "exotic", which I think was implied in some of the US marketing at the time for pizzas and breakfast sandwiches.
