I thought we had a thread for this, but couldn't find it. What did you buy today?

LBlack14 I need a new battery for my Ryobi. I see HD has early Black Friday sale… for $99 you can do either 2 18v 4a batteries OR a 2 and 4 a plus a Ryobi tool…. I think angle grinder was a choice.

I did see on Temu good deals on knock off Ryobi batteries too

Just took that deal. Have many Ryobi tools but only one battery that wasn't what it used to be.
Got the batteries and the 1/2 impact driver. Have an air impact, but won't have to fire up the compressor now when I need to use an impact.

Bought some for Ryobi cheap. They are junk.

One has to ask themselves how do these people sell batteries, supposedly the same as name brand, yet are only 1/3 the price?
The same can be said(more so in fact) for any generic chargers, which are even more dangerous for use than the batteries.

HD’s 2 Ryobi batteries and a tool for $99 I’ll probably do. Grab the impact driver I think

That's what I did if you missed it above. Have an air impact but have to pump up a 60 gallon compressor to use it.

That would be a better option for me storage space wise. That lift looks like it takes up some room. We keep our cars in the garage and the shed is getting crowded.

I burned up my Skil batteries, after about 10 years and bought aftermarket off ebay. 10 years later and still going strong. Bought another set of aftermarket, for backups. I'm a rebel!

Good to know. I've got some DeWalt and Ryobi batteries that don't hold a charge very long.

Have this one plus a Craftsman roller base with large chest on it , another Craftsman on one of my benches and a wooden Gerstner tool box that I got when graduating from my Tool and Die Appentiship.

jsippy73 Just looked at one similar at HF, $89. Not bad, but drawers sag when pulled. Cheap velvet lining and very cheap wood of course.

I should have made me 1 when I had my woodworking shop.

I have several of the HF tool chests and carts. Can't beat them. I did buy them for less than ad pricing though.😉

Gerstners are a thing of beauty and precision, nothing like the HF ones. They won't even sell you a replacement part if you can't supply the serial number. People have tried to buy all their hardware so they could build a copy. Ain't gonna happen.
