We ( family) used to go for 2 weeks every May

Absolutely LOVE HHI. Clean, friendly, beautiful with so much to do. We always stayed in a Villa Palmetto Dunes .....great beach, restos, golf . Walked 9 every evening for free 🙂

Been a few years now since I have been but looking at it again for next year.

Just spent 4 days in Vegas. Not much of a gambler but did frequent several casinos for slots and roulette while a buddy played BJ.

Played with house money for 3 days, got more aggressive last day and dug into some of my own $$$ but had a blast. Walked several miles each day, Saw a couple shows, ate some good food and bought a few Xmas gifts

First time visiting the strip ( went a couple years back to golf with Baab and Jimeng) it's a fun spot.
Gonna head back in Feb I think to catch Def Leppard at Caesars and Eagles at Sphere......
Sphere is pretty incredible , Wiz of Oz was on so had to go check it out

Interesting to see some of these bands do residency gigs. I get it, though. Travel tours have got to be tough on the body and spirit. On the down side, playing the same songs on the same stage night after night can become "work". A band I was in in 1976, got a 1 year house gig at Langley AFB Officers club. 4 nights/week. We didn't have to move our equipment for a year, but we were all working full time day jobs. Good thing I was in my twenties.

Stayed at a relatively affordable hotel on the strip , still was ~ couple hun a night .
When I looked Several hotels are $500/night +....but there are package discounts etc and depends on when you go (as always.) off strip cheaper

Coffee at the coffee shop downstairs was $7. We had a Krispy Kreme nearby so only $2

Prices in Vegas are ridiculous. My wife paid $18 for a bowl of oatmeal. We paid $24 for a burger and not one of the famous chef guys.
I used to take my Dad to the MGM casino here in Detroit and he used my card so I built up tons of points. I get free rooms, food, parking, resort fees etc but it's laughable what they charge. No way would I pay that with my own money. But people seem to have no problem dishing it out.

Weirfan Way back when my friends met each March for a golf week, always stayed at the Stratosphere. Had $1 tables. Life was easy. Although we did play $150 golf at Paiute😎

garyt1957 Was/Is a very nice desert course, but we always said not paying that money next year. Plus, we were not fairways finders and off the fairway there was not good.

We did it in threes, cheap, mid cost and expensive. We played Harmon's course once, Cascada at $225 and that was only once. Very nice course, great views and they made blender drinks with very lovely cart girls. Always played Angel Park as mid-priced and played a course we referred to as The Ditch--less than $30. Don't remember the name.

I don’t want to answer questions so I found the plow on the Lowes website. I pasted the link to my ad. The price of a new one at Lowes is $450. Mine was used once by my neighbor who I bought the tractor from last year. I priced it at $225.

Wouldn’t you know, some moron says “I think I can attach it to the tow hitch on my Jeep, will you take $50”. It was very hard for me not to respond and call him a fuckin clueless idiot.

LBlack14 No, I googled the model number and Lowe’s came up so it was perfect for anyone needing info.

I bought the tractor from the woman across the street last year when my JD from 1998 died. They had it a few years and I remember watching her husband trying to plow the driveway without chains and/ or wheel weights. Slid
all over the place. He ended up passing away and I bought it when she asked me if I wanted it because she was moving. No idea where they got it…. Lowe’s or the JD place in NH.

I don’t buy stuff like that or appliances Lowe’s or HD…. It’s low grade crap.
