KCee Is there a real difference in the guitar's sound?
Depends on how trained the listener's ear is. And there's other factors. Body wood type and thickness. Amp, effects and the player's fingers.
I know that the PAF humbuckers in my Les Paul are beautiful to my ears. The humbuckers in my PRS are flat, dead, unresponsive IMO, no dynamics. The quest for "tone"!!!
