I bought a Knuth High Heat 3 wood. I don't know if I'll be able to hit it but I wanted to try it. No, I don't have pictures.
What did you buy this week?
Par4QC Those things are 17 yrs. old.
They still got a lot left in them. I took them out today, and although I was still mostly crappy I at least started improving on the back with five pars on the last nine. After hitting a sky ball off the tee on one hole I put the 3 hybrid on the green from 203 and got par. Left the 4h just 3 feet off the left edge hole high on a 179 par 3 and made par. Used the 4h on an uphill 169 par 3 and left it 6 feet off the right edge and made par. I have to allow for a bit right to left, but no hooks. Me very happy to hit long iron distances at good trajectory like I used to.
Skull ring/band
54 holes at The Woods in Hedgesville, WV. Subsonic (remember him?), has a 2nd home at this golf community. We did a guy weekend. He's the Zach Brown looking guy on the left, I'm center, my buddy Carter is right. Par 3, hole #6 on the mountain course.
54 holes! Wow -- most I ever did was 45 in one day. I'm envious.
Probably could have been pink...
Picked up a TaylorMade 200 Steel 3-wood from the pro shop after I played earlier today - have had a couple of these in the past, it's a clubhead that I really like, and I have a shaft that should work pretty well with the head...
- Edited
cpanther1995 said it will look similar.
Another fairway wood arrived today - picked up a new Nakashima NX-1 7-wood clubhead off eBay, and will hopefully get it shafted up and ready to try at the weekend...
A couple of Taylormade M3 hybrids showed up ahead of schedule. Got a super deal on them, with 1 that I could not find, online or in store. Rex happy! (if he can hit them well enough)
I ordered a Maltby TS1 8i and W head and a few FST 115 shafts. Not sure why.........
Any feedback on the ladies F7 you were making as a thriver? I was looking at some of them on the Bay, and it seemed like a decent idea. For now, I'll probably just cut down my square 14 degree Final I picked up a couple of years back and add another foot or lead tape to what's already on there. Pulled the shaft and it was 212 grams, I'm leaning to trying to get it up closer to 220.
