Sneakylong steered us away from Samsung. Bought an LG.
We bought a new LG refrigerator late this past summer. By late November it was making knocking noises. I contacted the dealer and we are still waiting for his tech to show up. In fairness to him, we were in Texas all of February but there should have been plenty of time for them to show up. Everything I read on the internet tells me the compressor is likely going out.
That's not good news because the same site says that LG isn't good about standing behind their compressors and they are very costly, at least 75% of what we paid for the refrigerator. I can almost tell what the dealer is going to say when he finally gets here, "Your warranty has run out."
