Pts is small on that shaft and it's very sensitive to tipping, IIRC.

Spuzz The 983K it's in now is a bore-thru, so I don't have a ton of options. I suppose I could paint some of the prepped area. 🤔

I know what shaft resin smells like now 🙄 this is what I get for cheaping out and doing a DIY shaft puller which is now bent. Lesson learned!

Just enough PTS to still use the shaft but man... That bruises the ego a little bit 🤣

If you can afford it the Milwaukee is top notch (that’s in my work truck). I bought a porter cable years ago that matches up battery wise (with all my other power tools). There’s no comparison to the Milwaukee

colej I went with the Milwaukee as well. For my beastie, I've also gone with the 3/4" impact. I will 2nd that Milwaukee is top notch!!
