Fruit Cake has a bad reputation, but I like it anyway. Maybe because it just brings back memories of mom, but she would buy one (a good Catholic one soaked in brandy) every year at Christmas and we would eat it. I always loved it, but haven't had any since some time in my early teens. Ordered this random brand that popped up on Amazon and got it today. Just cut off a chunk and am happy to say that I still love it. I guess anything that brings back pleasant memories with mom has to be good.
