Typhoon sdandrea1 I did have a set of Nike Vapor pros that I got, repainted spots on the “white” shafts and resold. Hit them inside is all.
mulegolf backinit It arrived and I used it for the first time today. It just feels good in my hands. I putted pretty well with it too. We'll see how it does after having it for a while. Golf season is about done here. My normal last round of the year is usually a week either side of Halloween. After that it usually gets too cold and quite often it snows after then also.
Eguller I've always been considered a very good putter, but, on a whim, I bought a Garsen Pro putter grip. Game changer. One round and some practice and it is like cheating. We'll see how it goes tomorrow, but I may have a PappaD personal Holy Grail. 🏌
Jelopster Eguller I’ve been an average putter. Been better than average since switching to the Garsen Max Tour. Easily 3-4 less putts a round, mostly by eliminating 3 putts
colej Metabo 12” compound miter saw and a couple different saw blades. More of my favorite coffee creamer 😃
backinit colej I think that is basically a Hitachi saw. A 12" compound miter saw is one of the best purchases I have ever made.
colej backinit We carry some metabo grinders and drills at work and they’ve been pretty good. That’s why I didn’t hesitate to purchase their saw.
DC300 backinit yep, same company, new name. Good products at reasonable prices. I’ve had one for 7 years done thousands of cuts through all sorts of materials. I’m going to upgrade when I find the right deal, it’s not quite accurate enough for my likes, there’s too much guess work in finding the lock spot for the angles, it can be off a degree or so. Not the end of the world, but it pisses me off when I have a gap in trim work. I’ll probably keep it around for general abuse and buy a better saw for trim.
mulegolf I've got a DeWalt 12" sliding compound miter saw. I didn't think I'd use it nearly as much as I do.
backinit colej I picked up the Ryobi 12 and stand last year at Home Depot when they were on sale and for me it's been fine. An invaluable tool.
Par4QC colej I'd never heard of Metabo until we got their hammer drill at work. After it's performance, we got a couple of their biggest hammer drills that we could use for chiseling tile. They took a hell of a beating. I bought a slider saw (not Metabo) and it would not work for the job I wanted it for. So I sold it and when I found out Metabo was Hitachi, I bought their 10" compound miter saw. Right out of the box....deadly accurate!
ode Paid my golf dues for next year! Thought long.and hard.between walk only vs. Cart as well as the Sim add on.
mulegolf When I bought mine the stand was free if you bought the saw. That helped a lot and I seem to remember there were other reasons why I bought the DeWalt, features that the DeWalt had that the Hitachi didn't. I can't remember what they were anymore though. I did buy a Hitachi router instead of the DeWalt though. I haven't hardly used that yet.
