I know... I think they look great! I love the look of the Ping Blueprint and i500 irons.
However... I don’t buy irons as often as I change my underwear, so I’m not in the market. I tend to stick to oem irons even though the sub70 and Alpha Mb irons are beautiful. Price... I can buy a set of used i500 irons for close to a new set of sub70.
I’m not concerned about resale value really because I keep my irons for a long while. If I were a “flipper” though, there’d be a concern. At first I thought “heads only” would be a fun project but then I go back to the used set thing...pull the shafts, sell the pulls and I’d be better off.
