Par4QC Almost forgot....picked up a really nice, clean Cleveland Launcher 13* 3 wd. today, cheaply, of course. For those long 140+ approach shots. π² And maybe putting.
Eguller Par4QC picked up a really nice, clean Cleveland Launcher 13* 3 wd. today Uh...Uh... we can now have a shootout versus the Cobra SZ 15* 3 wd that I picked up recently. π
sdandrea1 backinit Say it ain't so. I tried a cheap Chinese Telecaster on a whim. Piece of shit. Good return policy.
AdamMH Got my hands on a Big Bang w/ Accuflex Assassin LD shaft over on the 'bay for relatively cheap. The hoard grows. Excited to try another original shaft!
AdamMH Oh... and a bench grinder belt attachment for doing work on clubheads. I'm gonna be grinding old POS individual club heads into nothing by the end of the month. π
sdandrea1 Eguller Yep. Not recommended. I could not get that neck to play without buzzes and stops, no matter which way I cranked the truss. Fret work is sloppy too.
backinit sdandrea1 The only thing gear related that I purchased from monoprice was a mini pedal direct out deal. It has a xlr output/speaker sim that allows you to go ampless into a PA.
sdandrea1 backinit I have a Monoprice 5w tube amp for practice. I just run it dimed and it's a little screamer.
backinit sdandrea1 I have one little peavey practice amp that I built into a talk box set up...nothing else smaller than 40 watt EL34 powered.
Bravopilot Boy, that is a lot of guitar/music/amp speak there. Thought Monoprice post was something altogether different than reality
backinit Bravopilot The most musical bizarre moment I had ever was using a talk box for the first time. You never forget your first. Lets just call it music in your mouth.
Par4QC CallMeAl I may have to 'visit with' one this summer. They do have the looks, and now the backing of reviews.
TheBlade CallMeAl Let us know what you think about the LA golf shaft. My son raves about them but I'd like to hear more opinions.
