I thought we had a thread for this, but couldn't find it. What did you buy today?

I have reshafted probably 8 or more sets of EYE 2s in graphite for myself and others. I have hand tapered .370 shafts and bought .355 graphites. In the end, I'd say that EYE 2 irons play best with ZZ Lite steels. That combo is tough to beat. The graphite sets I built played fine, but the classic "feel" was gone. I'd say reshaft the JZ set in graphite and keep the ZZ stock. 😉

sdandrea1 You were spot on. Those zz lites felt great I’m converted and leaving them in the bag. Best iron striking day I’ve had in a long time. By the way the spider putter is money too. I’ll get some pics up

Steve, any tips/tricks on hand tapering 370 shafts into 355?

I've got a set of Penley 370 shafts that I am considering putting into Hogan 355 heads. Put I only have the exact number, so if you have any lessons learned I would appreciate it.

No refinish, but this axe needs tuning pegs, upgraded bridge, pickups, and controls to be tight for gigging. It's a project.

Bearings,round and rectangular strap steel etc. for making my latest darpar invention.🤔
It'll be version 2.0 of a tool for trimming the grass around greenside sprinkler heads,tee box and
fairway yardage markers at my local track.
I do this in exchange for all the FREE golf I want play.
Version 1.0 works pretty slick but I just need to make it a little shorter.

A dozen Callaway Chrome softs with a shamrock pattern. Must've been left over from St. Patrick's day. Also, had a Ping tip adapter taken off a UST Mamiya shaft and put on a Graphite Design shaft.
