JeffTilley Huge difference! I remember when we finally upsized in our living room from 32” to 65”. That’s when I realized my eyes weren’t as good as I thought they were.
I would love to upgrade to a larger TV in our family room, but would have to go above the fireplace mantle, which I don't really want (too high for our viewing in my opinion):
I have debated having the gas fireplace torn out, remove the whole center portion back to the rear wall and have an 48" wide electric fireplace below a large TV. But we are planning to move in the next few years and doing a $12k project like that would likely not give us the return on investment.
