One of the few things I have good luck with is buying car models that hold their value decently. The wrx and Golf R are front runners. Probably not new. The 2019 Camry xse is one I was looking at only because that model with the red interior and back roof is nice. Not my “dad’s Camry”. But still tough for me to say I own a Camry if it were to happen.
All 3 are around 40k new. Waiting to see what’s up when I get a job. Hate to go down to 2012 for a Golf or WRX but there are a few around with low miles and decent price. The Golf I’d prefer automatic, it shaves a second off the 0-60.
