I thought we had a thread for this, but couldn't find it. What did you buy today?

pull it and install a senior shaft that I normally use. Can't wait to get it home and try it some more!!

Play it for a while and see. Nobody gives a shit what's in your bag and the scorecard doesn't care either.

It's all about the individual shaft. I got an A flex 40g Diamana shaft in a GGB Epic driver and it was way to flexible for me. I pulled it and put it into an old DTG 175g head and at 48" and it nows plays perfect for me and is back in the bag after several years of absence. This combo is a rocket with lots of roll out and a nice controlled 10 yard fade. 😃

It took me awhile to get over the shame, but the blue VS Proto I threw into the 917 D2 is starting to work out well for me. 🤞Seems to be right in the band between kick and control that works for me. Didn’t lose any drives yesterday and it’s been quite awhile since I’ve played 18 on a challenging course and could say that.

fatshot 15 pack of Top Flite D2 Feel golf balls

Were these the D2 or D2+ version? I still have 1½ boxes of the original D2 back when FGI was all abuzz that their local Targets were clearing them out for less than 5 bucks a box...needless to say I'm running low.

I know Dick's has the D2+ on sale from time to time but it would be interesting to hear that there are boxes of the D2 still available.

HybridWood D2+ is a better ball, imo. Buy 5 for $9.99 ea..

These were the D2 Feel. I don't see a + anywhere on the ball or the packaging. They've made them several years, and I've used them off and on, but never got a deal like this! These were logo overruns, so they have a logo on them from some golf tournament.....doesn't bother me at that price!!

The D2 Feel or D2+ Feel is my go-to when nothing else is on sale or they are on sale.. I still have 2 doz Kirkland Sig 4 layer balls in FL to lose.

I've used them for a long time....in part because I'm a Tight Ass, but also because they're a good ball, IMO. I'm sitting here looking at my one and only Hole-in-One ball (several years ago) in a trophy on my book shelf.....a D2 Feel. When I shot my age a couple of months ago....? Also done with a D2 Feel. I also stock up when they're on sale!

i was at golf galaxy today. They had a bucket of top flite D2 x-outs. I believe it was $25 for a bucket of 48 balls.
