pellmell ou're next investment should be a good sharpener like the Spyderco Tri-Angle or the cheaper Lansky 4-Rod.
I've seen videos on those systems and really like the simplicity of the Spyderco system. Right now I have a pretty good set of oil stones that I can use effectively, albeit slowly. I'm not a master sharpener by any means, but in the 40 years I've carried one I've had enough practice that I can maintain the angles good enough to sharpen well and not ruin the grinds.
