A laptop for my daughter’s college requirements. Both kids, being in high tech curriculums, need laptops that can run 3D CAD stuff and simulations. I’ve spent more on their laptops than I have on 3 cars I’ve owned over the years. I guess I should be happy that gaming is so popular that there is a lot more competition in laptops setup for those graphics requirements than there would be if they were only used for designing.

We did that in 1999. Our oldest daughter headed off to college. Need to buy her a laptop. She decided on an "Apple". laptop.

What? Why?

Because if you buy this one you get a fee iPod. I want that! WHAT????!!!!!! What the fuck is an iPod???!!!!! We are not spending that kind of money because it comes with some toy prize. This is not breakfast cereal.

We bought the Apple laptop for her. She got the iPod.

AAPL stock was trading that day for $0.79.

I'm still broke. 🤬😪

Par4QC The engineer that called it a 'Mustang' should be beat severely about the head and shoulders! And the CEOs that allowed it to make it to the streets with that name should just be executed outright in their offices.

Grew up with them, but never owned one myself. Friend got a new '65(maybe '66). Gal that would become my ex-SIL had a '68. Close friend had '67 fastback, then got a new '71, which we went to CA & back in. Fun times, fun cars.

The summer we graduated from college, we got married, I had a minimum wage retail store job, but we both had
signed contracts to teach starting in the fall. On Sept.1, a couple of days before school started, we went out and
bought our first NEW car, a 1967 Mustang hardtop. I think my father-in-law had to co-sign for it since we hadn't
started work yet. We thought we were "King/Queen of the road," LOL !!!!
