Typhoon No not for the Durango, the Lexus. It’s a horror show. We changed a bulb on Nicks Magnum and it was a little tricky but similar to what you described. Our little hands make it easier than having your hands
I have a 2009 Tacoma that had a turn signal bulb out. Easy change out from the inside with the hood up, just twist the socket and pull it out and snap out the bulb and snap the new one in. After putting the new one in it still didn't work so when I twisted the socket out to check it the bulb fell out into the bottom of the headlight assembly. It took me hours to finally get the bulb out. I guess I didn't have it snapped in all of the way. I think I finally got it out with a wire with some bubble gum on it. The next time I was at my Toyota dealer for an oil change I mentioned this to a bud who was the service greeter and he told me that they have a pair of special forceps to retrieve these which apparently is a common occurrence.
