Typhoon One time, way back when I was stationed at Fairchild AFB (Spokane WA) we had a farmer come in and claimed a B52 dropped a ladder and it smashed his shed. Base said prove it (we actually get this stuff often, especially killing their cattle when we use to fly low level (400ft). Guys brings in a metal ladder with the serial number stenciled on it.
Here's your money sir. Pretty funny. The pilot was a prick who thought his shit didn't stink (Westpoint Grad), now we know how he does walk arounds before flight. How do you miss a ladder in the wheel well???
