I know all about prep, via a few colon surgeries. As in I had a foot of my colon removed. Just something about going in through the out door, freaks me the fuck out. I wanna be knocked the fuck out!! I'm gonna get it before the season starts, is the plan..... I think. Off topic, do you happen to have a favorite watering hole?

when I had my colonoscopy I couldn’t remember a thing. I actually was dreaming about golfing and had a good round going. I was pissed when they woke me up lol

I don't know what all of the fear is about with a colonoscopy prep. I guess years ago it was a gallon of some kind of nasty crap you had to gag down. I have had two of these and all I had to do was to take some pills and pour some Ducolox powder in some Gatoraid over ice and drink that which is no biggie. You get to ride the porcelain pony for a few hours but not a big deal.

the gallon of crap you choke down tastes like salt water. When you drink that you’ll shit for hours on end. Your ass will have more water pressure than most people’s outdoor garden hose bibs.

The Dr. I went to still uses the gallon of nasty crap. There were three flavors you could mix in. I chose the lemon and the lime. The taste wasn't bad but the consistency was like drinking vegetable oil..... YUCK! I did this about 17 yrs. ago and don't remember it being like that. It did work though. Boy, did it work. It was like a power washer.

Just had a colonoscopy and the prep was by prescription - no big deal.

The only big deal was the $150 cost of the prescription. :-(
8oz of liquid every hour for several, again, no biggie.

They were about 100 bucks CDN when they came out 6 years ago.
Not the top of the line (like the 200 dollar + BOSE I was listening to in Best Buy today) but they work well with my old 2001 Sony Home Mini Home System I bought for 35 bucks CDN, that works great.
