The mechanic told me today that when they told him he was to work on a 2003 Ranger he was afraid it would be all rusted.

Once he saw it, he said it was a throwback show peice!

Just placed an order for 3 pounds of powder, and 100 once fire brass for 7mm rem mag.
Powder is coming out of Iowa, and brass is coming out of Phoenix....

Placed an order for the Callaway Paradym AI Smoke Max driver. With the 2X trade-in values it seemed a decent deal. Getting $490 trade-in and had $10 in Callaway points and free shipping. Got 30 days to see if it's better than the Rogue ST Max.....probably not, but I do like the color blue.

New Stereo System for the truck.

Went with a Kenwood head unit and Pyle speakers.

CallMeAl Thumb drive in, bluetooth ready. Very cool. I'm not a big fan of Pyle, but they will get the job done.

You gotta remember, this is a 21 year old vehicle. It's gonna be a budget build.

I'm not gonna spend money for a Touch Screen with Nav and Backup Camera. Fosgates or Kickers are outta my range too. Plus these are poly, so I don't have to worry with moisture.

Still a massive upgrade from OEM. These'll be just fine for me!

CallMeAl 100 percent. I have been using factory radios for quite awhile.
My wife had a jeep a few years ago that had a bad current draw in the circuit that the sound system was in. I pulled that and put an aftermarket head and left the stock speakers there as there weren't a lot of speakers options without putting way to much money into something that she didn't care about. I used to be pretty partial to blaupunt replacement speakers.
