Par4QC mine comes with the White shaft, it was a deal on WRX where the asking price was better for the whole club than I can buy just the head and the shape of that 8* version is just sexy in my eyes. I have not liked the new generation of shallower faced drivers, so this gives me hope.
I went to the range yesterday, trying to sort out the driver swing, it’s been awful for a hot minute now, actually found a good result by going back to what I was comfortable looking at. Started with ole faithful, DB455, 3 swings later I was back to what felt like the good ole days. Moved through all the others I currently have and settled on putting a Highbor Tour 8.5 with an 83x white board in the bag for now, was centering it and sending bombs out there past everything else I own. Just a lot stronger flight, with a consistent baby cut. So in order to not tempt myself, I’m selling everything except the HB, my beloved DB455 and the Dark Speed once it gets here. That said, the Dark Speed is not safe, it has to perform or it’s a goner while it’s worth something.
Also, I have been sitting on a set of Wishon EQ-1 irons that came with steel shafts, my elbow won’t tolerate those for long, but tried them out on the range and am going to get those things shafted up and ready to go too, they are too easy to hit to have them sitting around. Makes my X-Hot Pros feel like a blade and they aren’t that bad. Tested the GW, 7 iron, 5iron and was hitting all of them well. Next up is finally trying the Logical One shafts I bought for them in November 😂.
