Two new ultralight fishing rods. As I get older I'm much less a hunt for big fish guy and more of a let's go fishing for the sake of it guy. Been fishing a lightweight rod with 2 lb. test line for panfish for years, but always had to be careful because the line would break easily with the light action rod. Finally tried an ultralight and found I don't have to be as careful given the extra flexibility in the rod. Got a Temple Fork Outfitters (TFO) 6 foot rod and a Diawa Presso 6 foot rod both in ultralight. Also ordered a new reel for one of them, a Daiwa 23 Revros LT 1000. The other I'll just shift the reel from my lightweight rod to. Not my photos, but stock.
