sdandrea1 I think I lied, just a bit. I did break 1 club about 15 years ago.
Had a damned SW that I kept putting in the bag, and pulling out on the course. It was a possessed club, in and of itself.🤣
1 day after (not shanking) hitting it directly to the right(for maybe the 100th time) instead of forward, I calmly walked up to 1 of those wood 2x6 'carts>' signs in front of the green and performed an exorcism.
Told my brother that was the only way I would ever stop using it, and was not done out of anger.
Never reshafted that head again, btw.
