Haven't thrown nor broken 1 since.
The last club I threw was in 1999. My 4 iron ended up in a tree and it took quite a while to retrieve it. I was so embarrassed by my lack of self control. Shortly after, I read Bob Rotella's Golf Is Not a Game of Perfect. In the decades that followed, my handicap consistently dropped AND I LEARNED HOW TO ENJOY THIS MADNESS CALLED GOLF.
