I thought we had a thread for this, but couldn't find it. What did you buy today?

Sneakylong it's separated and although I suspect the molding is more durable then a typical non welted shoe, the downside is that when it does separate there is no way to glue the leather back to the sole as it does not run underneath the sole. So I'm essentially anchoring the leather back to the sole with a thin layer of e6000 on both the leather and the sole. I'd take a pic but I'd have to peel the adhesive repair off and I'm not doing that🙃.

Yeah, I’ve owned several pair over the years and have never seen that happen. Mine sit out in the garage with all that Florida heat in the summer. The only reason I throw a pair out is when they start to look ratty.

sdandrea1 It's what I wear, Skechers. My every day shoe. I got a pair just for golf, same as I normally wear, but different color. The older model 'Sport', before they changed the sole design and threw in that gawdawful memory foam insole. Still find them in a couple places.

I hit practice balls in sneakers all the time and never notice a difference. So, the "changeover" from spikes to spikeless was pretty easy.

fatshot I do that as well. The only thing I have noticed between the sneakers, and spikes, is that the spikes are stiffer, and don't bend as easily at the toe.

I don't swing fast enough to worry about my feet slipping. Besides, Scotty Scheffler shows it doesn't matter anyway. For me it's about comfort and not busting my ass on a slippery hill.

sdandrea1 My low cut Merrell hikers are my best winter golf shoes (in VA).

Ding, ding, ding we have a winner. I have a pair of Merrell's like that and they are about 15 years old and still look like new. Great foot stability which is important to me. I was using these for golf. I just wore them yesterday to mow the yard. Most Skechers are too wide and just slop around. I do have a pair of the newer Skecher "Slip-ins" that are surprisingly stable.

I bought that same model about 2 months ago. I had a wrist type unit that was very inaccurate. This unit during inflation squeezes your arm extremely tight to the point of being painful and gets into the 200 plus before it starts deflating.

Gassed up at Costco. I went inside and purchased another Hurley golf shirt some Gerry (?) shorts and grabbed a slice of pizza on the way out.
