pellmell It's a TruBlu Divide Blank (no engraving) except for a sight dot.

I received the putter yesterday. The stock mid/large grip looked heavy and confirmed with a C2 on the swingweight scale, not good. The putter is 34 inches long and the head weight is 350g therefore the culprit had to be the grip. I removed the grip, which weighs 152g 😲, and installed a Ping Blackout (Tiger's grip) and now the swingweight is D6. It's a beautiful putter but a less knowledgeable consumer might discard it because it feels too light with the stock grip.

I've been using Seed golf balls for the last couple of years, so it was difficult to turn this offer down when an e-mail arrived earlier today - 50s or 100s of their SD-01 model (the one that I use) with minor printing imperfections for a fairly significant discount over normal pricing (£69 for 50 or £125 for 100 on this offer, compared to £25 per dozen on subscription).

I've ordered a batch of 100, so should have enough balls to last me well into next year...

Sneakylong steered us away from Samsung. Bought an LG.

We bought a new LG refrigerator late this past summer. By late November it was making knocking noises. I contacted the dealer and we are still waiting for his tech to show up. In fairness to him, we were in Texas all of February but there should have been plenty of time for them to show up. Everything I read on the internet tells me the compressor is likely going out.
That's not good news because the same site says that LG isn't good about standing behind their compressors and they are very costly, at least 75% of what we paid for the refrigerator. I can almost tell what the dealer is going to say when he finally gets here, "Your warranty has run out."

I bought a slightly used Titleist TSR1 driver with a Hazardus Black Smoke shaft for my son. His buddy has one and he's hit it a few times and loves it. His buddy's has a Hazardous Red Smoke shaft and I couldn't find a deal on one with a Red Smoke shaft but feel we should be ok because my son has quite a bit more head speed than his buddy. My son took care of our house (including snow removal) while we were in Texas last month so this is his reward. If he doesn't hit it as well, I'll look for a Hazardus Red shaft and sell the black one.

Par4QC I used my pxg 2021 0211 7 wood last year way more then I thought I would. It was great on shorter par 4s and often as a second shot on par 5s.

Picked up some aluminum low temp welding rod yesterday, the goggles I ordered just arrived...
Now I need to go get my aluminum tubing and get comfortable with doing this...

Piece of advice when welding aluminum. Whatever you use to prep the aluminum shouldn’t be a grit or sand based type material/disc. That will embed in the aluminum and contaminate the weld. Use an aluminum abrading bit for a die grinder. If they’re designed for aluminum the bit will be very corse. The steel based bits will be too fine and the aluminum will clog them up.
