Typhoon Let me know how those work out. I've got TM heads, Ping Heads and Krank Heads...itd be great if by putting on that adapter I use the shaft in all the heads.
Received it yesterday and put a shaft in it.
Pro's : It does what it is supposed to do, you can put the adapter into most big brand driver head with the use of the appropriate adapter ring. Snug fit just as the original adapter. Changing loft/lie is achieved by turning the whole shaft; the ring does not change anything, it's just there to make the Multifit adapter fit the OEM clubhead.
Con's : One needs to remove the screws from the driver heads and use one of the Multifit screws since all brands use different threading, the finished lenght varies a little bit from one adpater ring to another and the unifit adapter has a different weight as the original OEM one, e.g. Titleist OEM weighs 3.5gr heavier then Multifit, Ping OEM is only 0.7 gr heavier.
It does the job for me giving my clients the opportunity to test drive some of the shafts I have in stock. The change in swingweight from the different weight and lenght can be adjusted easily with some lead tape. Preparing the head for the Unifit (removing the OEM screw) probably best is done in the workshop in order not to loose screws and o-rings.
