I had known the benefit of meditation from my youthful days. This article reflecting on the benefit of some quiet time for today's hustle and bustle schedule.
In the last decade or so, the social media and the populate of internet information system had enhanced our life at the same time took away the quality of living.
Bombarded by email, notices, text...... from the moment one wakes up in the morning until the last minutes before bedtime. We are in a stage of information and confusion.
Since when the annual sale became semi annual sale to quarterly sale to "one day only sale " ? Since when people gather information from the internet and spreading it before confirming the source ? Since when taking video and posting it on the social media became more important than just living the moment ? We're so busy that we don't have time for the most important persons in our life , our family. We are so overwhelmed by the information thrusting at us that we lost our best judgement. Who's fault is it ? Standing in line does not mean one is not smart enough to cut in ahead. Earning less does not mean one has less joy in life.
Enjoy the minute because it will never repeat itself again.
