johnnydoom The shafts for my son’s didn’t get here until today. Just finished tip trimming, roughing and glueing. Probably be Sunday before I cut to length and put on the grips.
cpanther1995 The OMG sale is still going on, and will be ongoing till OMG tells me to stop. Plenty of stock. Contact me at cpanther1995@gmail.com for more info.
cpanther1995 Now it’s Summer and the OMG wedge sale is still going on and going strong. For those of you that have not bought a TILLe, there are reviews here on Golfbuzz. If you would like to post new reviews here go ahead.
johnnydoom My son is loving his OMG wedges so far. Despite being a beginner this year, he has great confidence in them. He stuck a shot with the 52 degree TILLe 10 feet left of the pin from 110 on one hole yesterday and was hitting good looking partial shots with both the 52 and 56 degree wedges. They seem to work well from all grassy lies for him, and I took his 56 degree wedge into a practice bunker a couple of weeks ago and was loving how forgiving the head seems to be without having to lay it completely wide open.
sdandrea1 I've ho'd so many clubs, I can't remember if I still have my 2 Tilles in Florida. I know they're not here.
Rickochet sdandrea1 I've ho'd so many clubs, I can't remember if I still have my 2 Tilles in Florida. I know they're not here Easy fix. Ho two mo. 🤓
sdandrea1 They're solid units. Big, forgiving dual radius sole and at address, they look like a blade with a thin topline. Nice satin finish. And, oh yeah, they work!
cpanther1995 The OMG TILLe Special Sale for Golfbuzz is also ongoing, until Almo says otherwise 😂 I can’t publish the special pricing, but email me at cpanther1995@gmail.com for the sale pricing.
Spuzz cpanther1995 What's the specs on these? Bounce? Can they be bent flat to 60 degrees? Asking for a friend...
cpanther1995 Spuzz 52 deg and 56 deg. They can be bent 2 degrees, 431 ss. If it breaks from bending no warranty.
sdandrea1 Just got back to the Fl casa. My Tille wedges are happy to see me! I just realized how much they resemble the Cleveland CBX wedges.
fatshot sdandrea1 Steve....just curious....Do you play steel shafts in your wedges or graphite? I use a Maltby sand wedge and an old Maltby Lob Slider with steel. Was just thinking yesterday about maybe putting graphites in those to match the shafts in my Acer HT irons.
Rickochet Before this thread goes any farther Steve Almo just posted in another thread about the sudden passing of Cpanther1995 Rick Stamey last Friday. ☹️
Geekoman I'm thinking of a way to honor Rick with the OMG wedge Sales. But, I don't really know what and how to do it? I was thinking all profit to go to the family for wedge sales for a limited time. I don't know what do you guys think? Throw some ideas at me!
shokosugi Geekoman Steve, if it's not too late, how about getting Rick's initials somewhere on the sole of the Geek adjustable driver when it comes out and then donating some of the profit to the family? Either that, or maybe just recognizing him on the headcovers somehow with his name or initials if that's easier.
