I'm definitely a peckerwood. Haha yall are speaking gibberish. Yeah, no USGA tourneys over here. Haha
Its cool that you guys are able to put together some quality sets for better pricing. Maybe I will get there someday!

It's not uncommon. Foundries in China have a set of standard designs. And some new company can contract with the foundry to use the design with some changes (usually just cosmetic). So, Robin's clubs don't look like an original design, but a much better looking version of an existing design.

Sparky got it. That makes sense. It sounds like they are made after some decent quality clubs though? And I do like the look of the Robin's much better. Not to mention ease of buy and the customer service I received. But it may be a good thing if the look alike are good clubs. Relieves some of the mystery.

In terms of club quality, I would imagine that these clubs will be good enough for a newbie who doesn't know any better in terms of performance. As long as you have a decent swing, you will get decent results. Cosmetically, the black looks good and will likely hide any inconsistencies if there are any from manufacturing tolerances from an aesthetics point of view. Likely the head weights and lofts may not be as advertised but this likely won't be a big deal either, especially since the gaps between the clubs are bigger than a standard set. These clubs will likely be good enough as a starter set for someone who doesn't golf too much and having a less than full set will force the golfer to hit partial shots more often than if you had a full 14 club set, which will be good for learning and overall improvement in ones game but may have a negative effect on the scorecard (at least in the beginning). As well, if you you are not a fast or strong swinger then the "proprietary" graphite should be adequate. Essentially, the clubs should be decent but likely a big chunk of the $600+ you paid was for looks (everything being black and looking sharp) and for the good customer service you received.

that you got anything good off Craig’s list (that’s golf related). 😂

I’ve always found the opposite on there. Nothing but old junk way to high!

colej Try checking on Facebook. Your local 'marketplace'. I've seen a few listed around here. Along with a few Angus steers.....but that was a different kind of deal. 😂

colej Good, the key phrase being good, skid steers are hard to find. They typically get beat to shit.

If it is for use around the home place, a tractor with a bucket may be easier to locate.

Its interesting that someone would create an account to vigorously defend a product that they have never used, or actually possessed at this point, all the time denying any affiliation with the company.

it would be for doing side jobs and work around the house.

Subsonic shipping not necessary. I can drop it off at your house.

Can you drop it at my friend's house?
