Several players dropped on the walkway. Seems like someone in the stands could have yelled "drop in the walkway" instead of "mashed potatoes!" or "Tiger sucks!"

They said another player hit one out in the same spot and also dropped in the drop area. In defense of the players decisions since the walkway was out of sight from the players off of the tee, how could they accurately pick the precise point where it went out? Could they be DQ'd if they picked an inaccurate spot to drop? Perhaps they took the drop in the drop zone just to be sure.

It was Haotong Li and he was having a hissy fit as well, which is unusual for him, although he was right at the cut line.
Not sure if he had his own caddy or a local baggage handler.

I've been watching all of Tiger's comebacks with interest. There have been some consistencies:

The media is so far up his ass, they can see out of his mouth
He's still famous for what he used to be able to do.
He gets a little closer to just plain mediocre each time.

He was fun to watch 20 years ago, but now..........Yawn........

Ok, so he picks a spot he determines to be a "reasonable" guess. Does he need to ask an official or his playing partner if this is "reasonable" or is he good to go on his own guess? IIRC Tiger hit the flag at the Masters and the ball came back into the water. He went back and dropped and rehit. I think he was given a two shot penalty for not dropping in the exact spot. I guess his reasonable guess on the drop spot didn't suit someone watching. He missed the drop spot by 6 feet and dropped it farther away. Luckily he got a 2 shot penalty instead of DQ.

But, he is still a cash cow for the PGA and golf in general. People still want to watch him play even if he isn't in his 2002 form. I am one of those. I do think the media over does it, except for Chamblee who would critique a blow job by saying he didn't get his sack licked enough.
