rsvman Banana cream, chocolate cream. Can't decide which is best. This is something that people don't understand, but I don't like apple pie at all. Or apple crisp. Or cooked apples in any form. I love apples, but I don't think they should be cooked.
Toulon rsvman My wife loves apple pie but I'm not a huge fan. The majority of apple pie I've eaten in my life has been subpar. Apples dry and flavorless tasting like dehydrated fruit or too crunchy. However, an apple pie done right is simply heavenly. Might be the best smelling of them all. I wish smell matched taste.
Ack8236 FauxAmish Blueberry. We found a bakery that has the best blueberry pie on the planet, an Amish bakery.
shokosugi Hmm...Pecan pie with a close second to coconut cream pie. I'm not too picky though, as I can eat just about any pie and enjoy it, especially if there's whipped cream and/or vanilla ice cream.
swinnea I'm pretty much equal opportunity when it comes to pie. Chocolate cream or maybe pecan are favorites, but I had cinnamon apple this morning in honor of π day. Wanted to keep it basic.
Sneakylong Toulon Squash? Real men eat quiche. Squash pie is excellent. A little like pumpkin in a way. I like quiche too. Because it was pie day my wife brought home a mini Key Lime pie. Not my favorite, but had a piece anyway.
candukid Spuzz Toulon Wanna know something? Spuzz is a look alike to booger in that movie. I mean really close.
Tinker Most private bakeries in my area closed. Just supermarkets with so so baked goods. I’m a bakery guy. Big fresh loaves of rye, pumpernickel or sour dough bread, pies, pound cakes, danish.
PA-PLAYA Hard to pick just one. Pecan is a holiday favorite. Banana Cream is always welcomed, as is Coconut Cream. Peanut Butter pie with chocolate oreo-cookie crust is a definite go-to. Might make one this weekend, matter of fact.
