Rickochet Sneakywrong is obviously cherry picking and missed my other posting. I basically said anyone who contributes into the SS system can call it "theirs" regardless of race, color, creed etc.. Anyone who hasn't participated in it has no right to it. Congress doesn't care. They have their own system and dole out our SS money with little concern.
No, no ,no no...…….. That is not what you said. This is what you said.
Sneakylong I walked into the SS office and it was packed with young Hispanic people all with children. I was the only white dude there. I have been paying into the system since 1964. WTF are these people doing in "my" SS office?
Can't you see what you said is the essence of racism? You, you chose race to make your point. You were the only white dude there with all these 'other' Hispanic people with children. In other words if they were all white like you you'd have no issue.
If they were all white your post would've sounded something like this. 'I walked into my SS office and it was packed with young white people all with children. I 'wasn't' the only white dude there. I have been paying into the system since 1964. WTF are these 'white' people doing in "my" SS office?' Would've been an incoherent / non sensical statement.
You're the one who elevated your race over others. You assumed they didn't belong there because of race. You looked down on them as being Hispanic and lesser than being white. We know this because you referenced race as to why they shouldn't be there.
Do you even know what racism is? Your post couldn't have given a better real life example of what racism looks like. It's deep seated thru decades of embedded DNA. Not actual blood DNA, but worse. It's learned behavior.
We can only hope one day the cycle will be broken. I'm hopeful once us old white dudes die off it will get better. But there's no guarantee. History shows humans for some reason need to feel superior to other (in their minds) lessor human beings.
In other words racism (one race being superior to other races) may be part of being human. If that's the case it'll never change.
