They look like one of the New Level offerings.

And could someone enlighten me to what DT-4 steel is. Says forged on the site. What little I found on Google does not reference DT-4 steel with any golf club applications. I know it's possible to forge SS, but this is the first I've heard of it for quite some time.

From what I've read, it's a low cost ferritic metal. It's use in golf clubs is a mystery.

I like the Black Cavity irons, but I've always had a soft spot for black colored irons. No way I would buy some though. I'm too cheap. I'd just stick with my black Pro Open 690 irons!

Cwing @LogicalOne just sold his set to go all Honma! He may be able to give you his experience. He had 699 iron and a couple wedges, iirc.

Cwing I did, but as @toraider indicated, I went all Honma this year. I had the 699 irons, forged wedges and the pro fairway metal. Nothing bad to say about any of it! Great equipment and great value and Jason and team are top notch when it comes to customer service. I don’t think you’d be disappointed at all.

I have a friend who just ordered a set of the 699 Pro irons I believe. Talked to them several times and customized his fit based on his data as he has his own building beside his home with a trackman etc for teaching. I'll let everyone know how he does with them when they arrive and he let's me know. He lives in another state and I haven't played in 7 months now due to health issues. One reason that solidified his purchase, he said was they told him he could play them 30 days and if he didn't like them he could return them for 90% of his purchase price.

I’m curious about the 699 and 699 pros. Possibly a combo set. That stated, nothing wrong with my g410.

During AM Fam Championship Madison WI Friday I spoke to Skip Kendall and he is hawking equipment for Sub 70. He said he is using some new Sub 70 wedges with the SK grind.

Jerry Kelly has been sick for months going back to last year. I spoke to him we used to play in a hockey league together years back. He said they have figured out new meds and he has some type of Lyme's Disease issues. The high winds yesterday made putting tough. University Ridge is soft. Glen Day looked good.

I have a nearly full bag of Sub70 (lefty of course). Right now I'm gaming the 659CB irons 7-AW, 699V2 6 iron, JB Wedges in 52 & 58, 949X 5 Hybrid and the 949X 5 wood moves in and out based on the course. I have several other clubs from them that move in and out just depending how I feel.

Quite frankly, they are top notch, high quality clubs. Only change I made to my 659CB irons was rounding out the leading edge a little bit and I did a little grinding to the sole on my 58.
