Not sure what the league will do. I do think however that if the authorities' investigation of the business is indeed completed and they concluded that trafficking wasn't involved, common sense would seem to suggest that this isn't nearly as big a deal as it would've been if there was. It's a misdemeanor offense, it's not like his carelessness endangered someone's life... there will be those who will scream and holler that he should be tarred and feathered, but I'm guessing he'll get a hefty fine and maybe banned from team activities for a few games.
Kraft obviously isn't concerned about the money, whether he fights it or accepts the plea deal. But I'd have to think that on some level - he'd rather put this embarrassment behind him instead of having the video footage of his shenanigans become public, and too - having his name dragged through the mud for another several months.
Perhaps he cares less about what other people might think of him and sees this as just one more opportunity to buck the system by showing up Goodell and the league one more time.
If I were him - I'd take that deal and feel like I got away scot-free. But I'm not an old, stubborn, wealthy curmudgeon who has a history of being a nonconformist and couldn't care less about my dirty laundry being aired out in the open.
I seriously think his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top.
