A local reporter from the Sun-Sentinel did an in-depth article a week ago on the current status of the case. He found over 100 men that had been charged with solicitation and an attorney representing over 20 of them that challenged the use of the camera in building evidence against them. One of the same arguments Kraft's lawyers used and the judge agreed with them. In Kraft's case, the judge threw out the evidence because the tape also included a lot of men and women that were recorded receiving legitimate massages and it was a clear violation of their right to privacy. 🤓
The judge in the Kraft case also had a problem with the car stops used by law enforcement only to ascertain the identity of those eventually charged with soliciting and not for any traffic infractions.
The prosecution has said it is their intent to appeal the judge's opinion on disallowing the tape as evidence but there have now been 4 judges from the same sting operation as far north as Orlando that have individually ruled against it. The author believes it is inevitable the case will eventually be dismissed and the aggressive prosecutors are now trying to save face with the public.
