I tried a set of the mid-sized gripmasters on my irons. Very tacky but very messy. The black dye would rub off.
I installed a brown putter grip which seemed more color fast but was a little too firm and tacky for me on the putter.
Personally with the vast amount of styles and compositions of putter grips leather or exotic skins just don't compare.
Now if you were going to install one on a classic bullseye or hickory shaft I could see the allure 😉
