IMO, the reason the Rams couldn't win the game is because Goff is too inexperienced. The Patriots defense has mastered the art of deception. Goff could never figure out what was going on. Because of his inexperience he went into panic mode too early and too often. The defensive game plan was perfectly planned and executed by the Patriots.

I really wanted the Rams to win, but the Patriots did what they usually do: exploited the most glaring weaknesses of their opponents.

That's kinda crazy. The Dodgers and Lakers still draw well. Can't imagine there's another city in the country where that could happen

I'm not surprised. The LA market is a split market now with the Chargers and Rams. There weren't many Rams fans in Atlanta all week. I wouldn't be surprised if the St. Louis market was down as well.

Sneakylong A lot of people in St. Louis didn't watch the game. The Pats are not popular because many feel they got their first SB win by cheating and took it away from the Rams. And, of course, Stan Kroenke, is generally reviled. When he got control of the team, we thought the team was safe because he was from Missouri. So no one to root for in this game.

The NFL competes with soccer in the LA market. LA is more than 50% Hispanic. So it is not strange that the Super Bowl was not a big deal to the majority of the LA population in relationship to the television marketplace. LA has more Hispanic residents than 49 of 50 States, Texas is the only state with more Hispanic residents than the LA metro.

Toulon We know that if the call is right in Saints game they kick GW FG and Rams have between 0-12 seconds with no timeouts to kick tying FG.

Brady could win the game outright with that much on the clock! So, it's not entirely impossible for another QB to merely tie the game, with same time.

braveheart Can’t understand the hate. Brady is a great QB, leader and teammate. We have been blessed to see someone like him in our lifetimes.

He was funny while documenting his experience for his resume back when he was at UM. I guess this has been around the block for awhile but I had never seen it before. Amazing how good he looks on paper from a couple of summers working at a couple of golf courses around Ann Arbor.

General Studies is where Michigan puts its athletes. Basically 4 years of college without ever declaring a major.

Spartan - but isn't that taken into account in order to qualify for All-Academic Big 10 honors? Surely the conference isn't allowing a year of basket weaving, jujitsu, sex habits of blowfish, with an emphasis in survey taking to be recognized (which eliminates a few nominees). You do bring up a good point I didn't know but I can't imagine just because an athlete may be undeclared would preclude an otherwise good student from recognition.

Oh, please... Your 'rip' on the "General Studies" doesn't clearly indicate a silly curriculum. But, I get it Michigan's an arch rival. Years back had a gal working for me. She had a job at Penn State, while a student there. Made some extra coin working as a "tutor". According to her there were many "tutors" and they regularly wrote papers and took tests for players. These kinds of things can be kinda commonplace. (Didn't say okay or acceptable - just typical.)
