Hilarious. Great memories just reading that for me. A buddy used to have a hot tub off the back of his house. When I was in college, we would sit in it when it was below zero and then get out and slide down the hill in our swimming trunks face first. It felt like all over body acupuncture. From the hot tub to below zero to right back into the hot tub. Stupid things you do and I was always sober.
Winter wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't 6 months out of the year in some places. Loved winter as a kid. Hate it as an adult. I'm upset if I have to scrape my windshield now.
Dallas is usually 60 or so on average in the coldest month. We just had 68 here the other day with thunderstorms. Have never gotten used to storm warnings in winter.
By March we'll be in 70s and winter will be but a memory. The funny thing is when it does snow, or more likely ice this place completely shuts down and news stations are on the air 24/7 as if the apocalypse had just struck.
Winter is great if you don't have to drive anywhere and that's why it's so great when you're a kid and awful as an adult.
