Provisional Hit the wall with current chemo. Tumors show resistance to our treatments in both CT scan and blood antigen tests two times now. Time to change. Expected this , but thought it’d be later. Had #25 infusion yesterday , 33 weeks, and my tests. oncologist has arranged consult next Tuesday with “cyber knife “ radiation dr. to spot treat worst liver tumors, maybe pancreas. Deviation for trial protocol will eliminate my participation in current clinical trial but one door closes, God another one opens. Plan to move to local oncology so that will eliminate 200 mile round trip to Jackson each week. Eye of the Tiger! Fairways and greens y’all
mikeintopeka You always find the rays of sunshine and continue to inspire. Prayer sent for comfort and for your medical team to find the right treatment plan.
Provisional We’re used to hitting potholes in the road Worked commuted 100 round trip miles to south side Chicago 21 years Yeow! Life is good!
Toulon Provisional Can't explain it... but after reading your updates I just had to immediately listen to this: Prayers for his amazing grace to you, Provisional!
Provisional Toulon inspiring almost made me cry you rascal. I’ve been life long recipient of His amazing grace & it will not diminish now or ever. GOD is love. Striving I am to be what He intended for me but still a high capper there too. Bless y’all

Typhoon All u can do is be positive...it's tough sometimes but you have to keep looking ahead and yourself in 6 months ( or whatever time frame) this will be behind me and I'll be out playing. Best of luck as always!!
Provisional Typhoon Today's a good day ; son's driving down from Indy for a few days to visit and help out. He needs it too. Makes for a happy happy happy ! Wife will feed him well for sure .
Hoss7504 Provisional What's it like to not have snow everywhere? Great to see you out and about with a club in your hand!
Provisional Hoss7504 Great to even hit a few wiffle balls in front yard. I came back home to Dixie for good reasons. Highly recommended! Sharing the time with my son Priceless! He's leaving to go back to Indy tomorrow Miss him already but got some quality time together.
PA-PLAYA Looking good, ProV! Your hands look like they were made to grip a golf club! So happy that you can actually see the grass where you live, but even happier that you've enjoyed a nice visit with your son! Enjoy the remainder of your weekend. 🙂
Sarnella Glad you had some time with your son. The green grass looks great - I'm looking at about 30" of snow in my yard. You look good ProV - thoughts and prayers for you and your family
Provisional Sarnella My bud in Mobile Al has cut his grass 3 x ! Wife did our back yard yesterday. Needed it badly. Started my 2L Chemo regimen today w/o issues of side effects yet. FU-5 , Flurouracil is given with a take home infusion pump at slow rate ,Comes off Friday afternoon. Irinotecan liposomal, leucovorin took 2 hours infusion. Hoping to stop relapse with new chemicals since cancer has gotten tolerance to the ones I was on. Nice new building and treatment rooms, but oh, so many many patients. They’re building an expansion already.
Toulon Provisional Might be lots of patients but you're our favorite! Is that a Christmas tree I see still standing? I hate to admit this but ours is still standing all decorated still. Kids love it so we just leave it up until they want it down. Hope the new regimen gets the job done. You're in our nightly family prayers.
rsvman Toulon I'm thinking that might be a Mardi Gras thing? The beads are in Mardi Gras colors. Thanks for the update, Provisional. I am also continuing to pray for you every day, and for your family and doctors, too.
