Yes these came in while I was swamped with my day job. Derek has one coming to me. Monark got theirs before me and this was my concept 😂. No worries.
Last year I was helping Derek sell out of Little Bastards. One customer from eBay really stood out among the others only wanting a LB or a 551. I offered him a deal on a No Brainer and he said “ do you have an illegal one?”
Derek told me to run with it creative wise. I had BEGGED Almo to come out with a yellow head and he would not do it. I wanted to see a yellow Fail Safe 3.
The Mellow Yellow was one of the most iconic looking and one of the best things Bang ever turned out. To me, the Geek versions of Almo Designs were always superior to Bang. Geek IMO needed at least 1 yellow head.
What better head to do this with than a non conforming No Brainer! I did some mockups and Derek and I were sold. The nickname was my idea too😁.
